About me & Ravenspoint Marketing
Hello, my name is Lucy and I am the owner of Ravenspoint Marketing. I’m an experienced marketer and Squarespace website designer and have been running my own business since 2015, having left the corporate world in the South West of England to move to Shropshire with my young family.
I have a background in the arts, but also in blue chip businesses with companies such as Abbot, Danone, Cow & Gate, Aptamil and The Soil Association in Sales and Brand Marketing & Project Management roles.
My experience has given me a wide range of transferable marketing, design and sales skills that I use across different industries – please see my Linked-in profile for more details.
I offer high quality websites, design for businesses of all sizes. My approach is professional, focused and fun. I love to get to know my clients and tackle any problems together to come up with great results.
What’s it like to work with me?

Retainer clients
The benefits of hiring me on a retainer is that you have access to my experience, my skill set and my ‘get the job done’ mentality, without the overheads of hiring a full-time employee, or the long term contracts you might experience with an expensive digital agency.
For a retainer, we’ll agree how many hours you need me each month, depending on your requirements and if I get the job done in a shorter amount of time, it rolls over to next month.
One-off project work
For clients that are just looking for a one-off project such as a new Squarespace website, website update, logo or branding/design work.
After our initial scoping call, where we have a chat to see what your requirements are and if I can help, I will put together a detailed project proposal and quote for the work - including time scales and any third party tools that maybe required.
The quote you receive will be broken down into the individual elements involved e.g. a website and a new logo.

Individuals / smaller businesses that don’t want to employ an expensive digital agency to build their website or manage their marketing materials.
Larger companies / businesses either for a project such as a website build or on a retainer basis to update their marketing materials and Squarespace website.
Agencies that either need an extra pair of hands for a specific project or a safe pair of hands to pass over projects that are too small for them to take on.

Your time is precious.
Running a business of any size means that you have to prioritise your time to maximise your output. As the vast majority of my work (over 95%) comes from referrals, so it’s really important to me that I deliver what we’ve agreed in the times frames we’ve set, so my clients are happy with the outcome and spread the word! So many clients that come my way have started to work with a web developer and have pulled away as the project is taking months and months, with no sign of a finish line.
The way that I achieve this is by creating a very clear project brief and scope of work, with clear times lines and ensuring the elements I need from you for your project is understood and you have a easy way of delivering what I’ll need.
Working for large corporations before I set up my own business gave me the skills you need when it comes to project management!
