Your two-day, one page website

If you are just starting out with a new fledgling business or a side hustle to your existing services, this budget friendly, fast paced website package is for you. It’s ideally suited to a business that doesn't yet have enough content to fill the standard 5 or 6 pages.

You won’t need to hang around waiting the usual 3-6 weeks for your website to be ready either, you can launch at a time that suits you, with confidence knowing your website will be ready to go.

You will come away with a professional, custom designed website, giving your prospective clients an insight into your service offerings, links to your social media with a section for your photos and contact forms. This can grow with your business, so once you have more to say or new service offerings, I can come back on board and help you bring it to life.

We’ll need to work together as a team. There are 4 steps we need to follow to achieve the two-day goal. Please see below a summary of the steps:

1) Project steps & plan

After our initial project call to check that you are a good fit for this package, I will send you a project proposal & check list for all the elements I need you to send me. This includes copy, photography, contact details & branding. I will also send my details to pay your invoice.

2) What I need from you

Once you have sent me everything for the project (in a Google folder that I will set up for you) we will secure the days in the diary where you will need to be available to give feedback. We will be working at a fast pace!

3) Day 1

Using all the details you have shared with me I will begin working on the structure and design of the website. If you have included branding in this project (see additional add-ons below), this will have been completed before we go ahead.

4) Day 2

I will send you a link to review your website. We will then jump on a call together to make any edits and changes together - thats the beauty of Squarespace, there are no wire frames, you can see any edits I make straight away. Once you are happy I will connect your domain name and you are good to go!

What’s included?

  • A two-day website design, build & go-live

  • Your website will be broken into a handful of clean & simple sections (a max of 6). This usually includes: Intro, About, Services x2, Overview & Contact details

  • A mobile responsive design

  • A customised contact form and your contact details

  • Connecting your social media accounts eg Instagram and Facebook

  • Connecting and mapping your domain name (I’ll require access to your domain host)

  • Built-in website analytics

  • A 30 minute training session and ‘how to’ document handover

  • Information such as Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions you’d like to use, using your provided content. This will sit as a separate page that just features copy.

  • A set price of £1,300 (if no additional services are required)

Additional services:

These services are available as add-ons to the one-page website service. Full details will be provided in your project proposal.

  • A wordmark logo - using just your company name (no symbols or graphics, think Coca-Cola) You will receive three routes to choose from.£650

  • As your business grows, you may require some extra pages or tools. Additional pages priced at £350 for simple shorter pages and £550 for longer or more technical pages.

  • If your business requires e-commerce this can be added to your website. Prices start at £600 for set up and 5 items.

  • There are many reasons why I choose Squarespace over Wordpress or other platforms. Chiefly, one of the main reasons I use it is because of its usability. Because I create and build your website and hand it over to you, rather than charge a monthly maintenance/update fee, I want to feel confident that you can use it yourself once the build is complete that you will easily be able to navigate the ‘back end’.

    The benefits of Squarespace include:

    Stylish & modern starter templates (the bones of the website) - this speeds up site creation and build, saving you money.

    Extensive customisation options - your website will be unique.

    SEO-friendly - Squarespace does a great job helping you to get found online by translating the information that you provide into a format that makes Google happy.

    Regular new features and tools included in your Squarespace subscription, despite a comparably low hosting fee.

    • Can I manage the website myself?

      You will be in charge of your website, it’s all yours. Once the build is complete I hand ownership over to you are then able to make basic changes, write blogs or add items to your shop for example.

    • Once the website is live, are you able to help me with it? I don’t want to run it myself.

      Yes, once your website it live I can support you with managing it moving forward. See my regular support page for more details.

    • I have a website but it’s no longer fit for purpose. Can you build me a new one which allows me to keep some of the content?

      Yes, I can build you a brand new lovely website, transfer the content you want to keep and reconnect your domain name. I will also make sure that you don’t loose any traffic by rerouting your URLs.
